Every day we get to know a new story about the good and bad effects of coffee on health. Here is a research from the Harvard School of Public Health about the effect of coffee and tea drinking on health. They published in a journal of Diabetologia last week that if someone continue to drink coffee over four years period, he/she will have a less probability of having type-2 diabetes.
More than 120,000 health professionals observing from more than 20 years are in a view that having more than one cup of tea per day over four years decreases probability of having type-2 diabetes by 11%.
The story doesn’t ends here, the people who decreased their intake by more than one cup of coffee are found to have 17% greater risk of having the disease.
Research shows that these differences in the risk are true for coffee but not tea, regardless of initial coffee intake and other lifestyle changes occurring during the same four-year period.
Moreover, during research it has been found that every additional cup of coffee per day, the probability of type-2 diabetes falls by 7%.
So these are some statistics according to researchers from all over the world, now what are you waiting for? Go ahead and get yourself another good cup of coffee.
